Busy Few Days

Sunday evening I started to feel sick and have a backache. I eventually started to think I was having contractions and so we needed to go to the hospital. I was still 4 weeks 2 days earlier than my estimated date of delivery. A very good friend offered to stay with the boys so that Keith and I could both go to the hospital. For that we are forever grateful! After an IV, anitnausea meds, and some meds to slow contractions, we were able to go home by 4am. It was a very LONG Monday:)

Tuesday I was hard-boiling some eggs and went to drain them. I guess, I didn't realize how full the pot was, but I ended up spilling it down my belly. Joshua and Brian did exactly as we had talked about in an emergency. They immediately called Keith's cell while I changed and tried to run cool water over the burn. Brian packed a plastic bag full of ice and water for me. Keith ran home to check on me and help me determine if we needed to see a doctor or not. (We didn't). I now only have some minor blistering in a very small area. I'm extremely proud of how quickly and calmly the boys helped me out in an emergency and all the while their mom was crying.

Been nauseated most of the rest of the week. Woke up early Friday morning vomitting and ended up taking another trip to the hospital for nausea and observation for just a couple of hours. Now on anti-nausea meds for next several days. I feel a lot better so far. Hopefully it stays that way!
