“Our State Fair is a Great State Fair…Don’t Miss It, Don’t Even Be Late”

We got to meet Grandma and Great Grandma and Keith’s future brother-in-law, Brooks, at the state fair this year.  We were VERY SLOW, but we had a lot of fun!

All 3 guys riding in a dump truck.

Brian riding the elephants.

Joshua and Brooks …surviving:-)

Lucas and Keith squeezing into a balloon ride.

Seeing the butter cow made from over 1200 pounds of butter!

FFA enabled us to see and pet the following: pigs, cow, donkey, sheep, ducklings, chicks, and rabbits.

Brian and Joshua tried their hand at using a bow and arrow.

We were treated to a full double rainbow for most of the trip home!   Pictures did not do it justice!

Laptop Deconstruction and Bristle Blocks Construction

What can $.90, plus tax, buy 3 boys?

An hour of fun!

Thank you, Michaels clearance rack!

Cool Universal Grocery List

I found a universal grocery list on Google docs that you can edit to what you buy at the store(s).  It’s easy to edit and print out…and best of all…free!  We are trying it out over the next few weeks and will report back as to the helpfulness of such a list.  I’d like to hear how you create your grocery list.  Let me know what works for you!

Indiana Trip with Grandparents

Joshua and Brian were able to go with their Grandma and Grandpa K on a short trip to Indiana. They went to Holiday World and actually bumped into a family from church (small world!) They also went to a state park and got to see how Abraham Lincoln lived. Brian took

some photos of the trip to the

Lincoln museum and park. Thanks

for taking them Grandma and Grandpa!

Racer turns 2!

Lucas turned 2 a few weeks ago and we had some family in to celebrate! When asked what kind of cake he wanted, he said, "Car!"

Lucas colored his legs with markers he found in his brothers’ room on the day before the party.  I guess he wanted to be decorated for his birthday party, too!
